Winter Hiking

Just so you don’t think we cease to exist when we’re not south of the border, here are a few pictures from Pennsylvania. This was the day after Weber Christmas at the family farm near Fleetwood. We took the Appalachian Trail from near Hamburg and hiked up to Pulpit Rock and the Pinnacle, a hike Leticia did many times growing up. The last time we did this, Zeke was carried in a backpack. The day was cold but clear and there was even a bit of sun. We took a slightly shorter route down the steep road, getting back after 8.6 miles and about 5 hours, including stops for rest, snacks, and lunch. It’s good to spend some time on the mountain, or in the woods, or – even better – both.

Music

As you may know, we mostly update this page when we are in Latin America. Occasionally we mention things that happen in regular life. Here is one:

Anna, Paul, Zeke

This was at the Moose Exchange in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, a show celebrating the release of Paul’s third album, called World Famous in Bloomsburg.

Leticia made this.

It’s a fun album. Paul’s music stuff – concert dates, CDs for sale, etc. – is at paulloomis.com.
